The Challenge
Having supported this client over many years and needs, we were invited to design and host an offsite team event for the Legal and HR team (12–14 people) focused on strengthening collaboration, communication, and group effectiveness.
Underpinned by DISC, the session will help the team understand individual styles, recognise how to get the best from one another, and harness their collective strengths.
The day would also build connection, prepare the team for future challenges, and support more effective collaboration.
The Solution
We created a three-step development solution to strengthen collaboration and understanding within the team.
The programme began with a pre-programme webinar to introduce DISC, explore individual working styles, motivators, and stressors, and build awareness of how to adapt to others.
This was followed by a highly interactive face-to-face session using practical exercises and simulations to surface team strengths, challenges, and collaboration barriers, while developing more effective communication and prioritisation.
The solution was completed with team comparison DISC reports, enabling deeper insight into similarities and differences and supporting more effective day-to-day collaboration.
The Result
Participants deepened their understanding of the theory and research behind Everything DiSC and learn how their individual styles impact workplace preferences.
They gained practical tools to communicate, collaborate, and manage conflict more effectively.
These also gained insights to tackle workplace challenges, prioritise effectively, and leverage collective strengths, resulting in a more aligned, high-performing team capable of delivering stronger outcomes.
